Porter's Lodge
Pistrino, Italy | 2024-2025
The newly constructed building, located in Pistrino at one of the main entrances to the Aboca production plant, was conceived as a central hub for control and reception. The structure plays a crucial role in managing access and welcoming truck drivers, employees, and visiting groups.
The project stands out for its unique architectural solution and strong visual impact. The building is defined by two reinforced concrete walls that intersect, supporting a cantilevered overhanging roof. The large and tall glass surfaces give the structure a remarkable sense of lightness while ensuring abundant natural lighting for the interior spaces and providing a 180-degree view.
A skylight has been integrated into the roof to bring direct light to the central focal point of the entrance, emphasizing the pivotal function of this area and providing natural light for the plants located within the space.
The interior spaces have been optimized for operational efficiency and user comfort, including a reception and registration area dedicated to managing incoming flows, as well as a break area designed as a comfortable waiting space for visitors and staff.
This building is not only a control point but also represents a modern and functional calling card for Aboca’s corporate image.
